Huldrestein is a big boulder located in the forest 500m north-east of here, local lore has it that this is the home of the mythical creature Huldra. A beautiful creature in the form of a woman, wandering the woods looking for lost children and men that she could lure into her home, never to be seen again. The tail would be the only thing that would distinguish the Huldra from a regular woman.

This igloo is 40m away from the service building, situated just beneath a small berg higher up in the terrain than the other igloos, giving you a sheltered feeling from the rest of the world, along with a superb view of the entire fjord.

The Huldrestein igloo has a black and blue theme, we have fitted it with two really comfortable rocking chairs, a beautiful lamp, a stylish table, bedside tables and clothing rack.

We want you to sleep well and fitted this igloo with high quality beds from Odel and goose down duvets. For the warmer days and nights, we have a new high tech portable air-condition that will help you cool down. You will also find a coffee machine, electric kettle and water dispenser that you may use to get a much needed hot or cold drink.

We value your privacy and have fitted each igloo with its own secure WIFI network, so that you may enjoy the world in peace and quiet without a worry.

Rammstein is a huge boulder just next to the coastline on your way in the fjord towards the glacier. This boulder has been used as a wayfinder for people travelling to the glacier by boat for decades. The sea next to the glacier is very treacherous with lots of dangerous underwater reefs and there is only one safe path through these dangerous waters, to find this path you have to navigate a straight line with Rammstein behind you and another landmarks, Bjørnøya, in front of you.

This igloo is located next to the service building, in a secluded opening in the woods just next to the coastline. Here you’ll feel a little more sheltered from the rest of the world, giving you an extra touch of privacy.

This igloo has a forest theme, with green, yellow and brown colours, it has comfortable recliner chairs and wooden table, bedside table and clothing racks. It has a modern fully equipped bathroom with everything you need inside.

Welcome to Vika, this is the name of our property, the beginning of our adventure.
In 2010, we got the opportunity to buy this beautiful piece of land in Jøkelfjord, close by to where Tonny was born and raised, and we couldn’t let that opportunity pass us by.
The property Vika stretches from the coast to the mountain top, ideally placed with direct view to both the Øksfjordjøkelen glacier and the spectacular Kvænangstindan mountain range, it has everything from seaweed and caves to viewpoints and trails.
We love our property and chose to name our final igloo after it. We hope you will love it too.

The Vika igloo is located next to the sea, it has a big terrace outside with a private jacuzzi, and room for sunbeds and chairs to enjoy the summer sun or the Northern Lights.
