What would we be without the support and backing of our local community? Helping us, encouraging us and providing products that makes this region one of a kind.
We have been working on this project for years, and people have regularly stopped us at the local grocery store or other places and asked us how things are going. So when we finally announced that we would open up this year, we wanted the local community to get a chance to see and experience what we want to do, before we opened up for other guests.
On Sunday October 13, we opened the doors for anyone who would like to come and have a look. Tonny stood outside, giving tours on igloos and talking about the project. Mira and our youngest daughter Rubi (4) gave tours indoors in the service building and served homemade baked goods. Our son Axel (7) had a stand outside at the fireplace, serving hot-dogs and making sure that everyone had everything they wanted.
We were overwhelmed by the attendance, close to a hundred people turned up! We only wish we had more time to talk to each one of you. Thank you so much for all the well wishes and sharing this day with us.
